Come to The Village Peddler/Chocolatorium located at 261 Old Mill Road in East Arlington on Saturday August 7 from 9:30 am -10:30 am and Saturday August 21 from 9:30 am -10:30 am. There you will be able to Make Your Own Chocolate Treat. Participants will choose from a variety of centers, hand dip in milk chocolate and decorate with a variety of toppings.

Spend an Awesome August weekend at the Fly Fishing Festival!
The American Museum of Fly Fishing will hold its annual Fly Fishing Festival on Saturday, August 14 from 10am to 4pm. A unique mix of antique dealers to artists, reels to rods, and collectors, this is the only event of its kind in the in the area.

• Casting with the Legends - Our set of historical rods includes such makers as Leonard, Granger, Heddon and even the Wonder Rod of the 1950's. Here's your chance to test, feel, and cast one of these legendary rods!
• Casting Competition - Sign up to be a part of our first casting competition at our pond. Winner will win their choice of an AMFF hat or t-shirt from the Brookside Angler, the Museum giftshop!
• Tackle Swap - Check in at our Swap table to register your items... or find something new!
• Children's Activities - Kids can make a Clown Fly and learn the steps to real fly tying or stop inside the gallery for a scavenger hunt.

The Southern Vermont Arts Center
SVAC offers a wide range of activities in August ­ from weekly children/family art activities, to the From Jazz to Country performance series, to gallery exhibitions, art workshops with nationally known artists for adult students, and a special Museum exhibition of Camelot-era photos of the Kennedys and Martin Luther King by LOOK magazine photojournalist Stanley Tretick.
